« Hors-sol » est une référence directe à la science-fiction. Elle évoque un cœur artificiel. L’œuvre s'auto-alimente par le bassin sur lequel elle est suspendue. Faite de silicone, de tube et d’appli industriel, elle lie manufacture et organique. Rapport de réflexion sur l’identité de l’être Humain qui au cœur du transhumanisme, évolue perpétuellement et se déracine. Cette entité semble sortie d’un laboratoire biotechnique, telle la culture "hors-sol" d'un organe.
Figure à la fois inquiétante et captivante, elle domine le regardeur.
“Hors-sol” is a direct reference to science fiction. It evokes an artificial heart. The work is self- contained with the basin, over which it is suspended. Made of silicone, tube, and industrial coatings, it combines manufactured and organic elements. It reflects on the identity of the human being who, at the heart of transhumanism, evolves perpetually and uproots oneself. This entity seems to have emerged from a biotechnical laboratory, like the soil-less (hors-sol) cultivation of an organ. A figure both disturbing and captivating, that dominates the viewer.
