"Modulo" est une installation qui joue sur les rapports ambigus que l’on entretient avec les machines. Il s’agit d’une production collaborative entre mes instructions et un algorithme générateur de texte. Le processus de création évolutif lui-même, renvoie à la nature aléatoire et inachevée des combinaisons proposées par le programme informatique. La collaboration s’établit alors par les choix définitifs de phrases que je laisse défiler sur le panneau LED ; modulo signifie ce qu’il reste après une division.
Entre fascination et fétichisation de la technologie par le capitalisme, j’apporte un discours cynique en personnifiant la relation qui lie la machine avec son environnement.

MODULO is an installation that plays on the ambiguous relationships one has with machines. This is a collaborative production mixing my instructions and a text-generating algorithm. The evolutionary creation process itself, refers to the random and unfinished nature of the combinations proposed by the computer program. Collaboration is established by the final choices of sentences that scroll on the LED panel; Modulo means what is left after a division.
Between fascination and fetishization of technology by capitalism, I bring a cynical discourse by personifying the relationship between the machine and its environment.
